I swear I think I do more damage putting it on and off then letting it hang in the hard carrying case.   Sometimes it just slips right on, sometimes it feels impossible to snap in place.  Am I alone in this??  anyone know the secret?

I watched the DJI videos before I even started to play around with my Mavic 2.  I do exactly what it shows in the video.  No issues what so ever...

Hello Dronin. i am sorry to know that you are having issues in installing the gimbal clamp of your DJI Mavic Pro. This is not the experience we want you to have with DJI. I always lay it on it's back and install it then. No problem here.

^^ yep I do the same. Try setting it on the back and line up the 2 hooks first. It always works for me.

Never have an issue with that. Neither with the MP or the M2P.

Bought 3rd party covers for M2P and M2Z. Only one piece, easy to install and ~3 bucks a piece. Protecting well.

Personally, I think it's as easy as shown in the DJI video... not a problem at all. First line up the clamp with the slits on the drone, slide it down while the camera is aligned with the clamp. Done.

Has brought me to the white heat (we say in Germany). Good that none of DJI is around here
I changed it and it's perfect now. The Filters are also protected.

No, it is stable, handmade. Push on, no matter how the camera is.
Low noise propps. I raised them 5mm. Standardly they rush very close to the arms and unnecessarily produce vibrations and a humming sound. Now the bird is one step quieter than before and I think much less vibrations. I did some test flights in the garden but not a hardcore test (tuned MP) in open area (cold here). Have a small comparison video (low noise vs. mod), but can not post here.
