Hey DJI,

I have updated my I2 and X5S to latest firmware. I take them out and shoot some footage with the new H265 codec, however many footage also have blocky artifacts appear. The blocky frame happen at random section of the clip but mainly at the beginning of every new clips. Here are some screen cap. My SD card is a Samsung PRO 64GB (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Memory-Micro-SDXC-Adapter/dp/B0111EITOM)

Can you have a look to the issue?

The H265 codec isn't really new and has been around for quite a few years now.
I've had some issues with it myself and don't use it anymore nowadays.
I think the even older H264 codec still does a better job :-)

Did this occur with the latest firmware update? V300
Where you able to shoot h265 before this firmware update without issues? I think this would be important to know, also for DJI support team.

If it started with the v300 firmware then it is just another bug in that firmware which has many issues, just look at the forum.

I update my controller/X5s/I2 body/ TB50 battery everything to latest (back to the post date, 21st Nov), I'm not sure the version number but latest latest

I didn't fly my drone for a long time so this is my first time realise H265 codec bought into DJi Go4 for I2 (my previous flight, back to 2017 mid, don't have H265 codec function) so cannot comment if the artifacts appear before or not

ok then just try to roll back to.. uhm. V100 I guess, that one works half decent and you should have h.265 working. Both v200 and v300 (the last 2 firmwares) are essentially buggedwith loads of reported issues including but not limited to:
-Breaking TB50 batteries, or rendering them unusable (Shows as N/A in app when powered on, someone here on the forums has 13 batteries made unusable due to v300 firmware)
-Extending/retracting landing gear for no reason
-drifting gimbal
-failure to keep horizon level
-Purple frames in RAW video (X7, maybe X5s too)
-Poor position hold
-poor signal/disconnect
-loss of satellites
-eractic/unreliable compass (when you use CrystalSky)

you may experience all or non of the issues listed above, based on which "version" of the Inspire 2 that you have and a bit of luck.

I am still on V100 and would advise using that firmware, especially if you are having issues.
Other than that, hope that at some point in 2019 they release v400 and fix things, however the track record so far is very poor.

Edit: Just install DJI Assistant 2, connect it to your Inspire 2 over USB and you should be able to roll back to V100 from there
