Are you stuck in the app on your smartphone?
Did not try to glue the processed raw photos?
Very good base and you should get a great 200 megapixel panorama-360 ...
Thanks for your answer Alexei.
Yep, i indeed seemed to be stucked with this pano stitched through DJIGo4 app, as i tried stitching the pictures through several other softwares with unfortunately no go.
I previously had other panos that i could succesfully stitch with other softs (ICE, Kolor, DJI Media Maker...), but for some reasons, that specific one is always failing :/
FYI, i shot this pano with manual exposure, but through JPGs (ie not raw DNG files).
See below previews before stitching that specific failing pano, and showing the issues due to many missing parts on each sides of the result :
- with Kolor AutoPano :
Kolor AutoPano
- same problem with MS ICE (note that the final auto-complete for missing part didn't produced any good result) :
ICE
- it also failed with DJI Media Maker, although it apparently could fill the missing parts, but with so much differences on left and right that the joined portion was definitely no good :
DJI Media Maker
- here a screenshot of the specific joining part failure (with DJI Media Maker) in a 360 window preview :
I also tried stitching with Photoshop but won't even show the results as it was really messed up and not usable at all !
So this is why, at the end, i had to use the poor resolution file stitched through DJI Go App 4 after, of course, fixing the 2:1 aspect ratio and also adding some color corrections. And of course, i guess color grading to a yet highly compressed and already processed file could not produce a huge quality result in terms of
definition/resolution...
Thanks also for your tuto link related to stitching, that i actually already viewed recently. I must though admit i'm not an expert in this whole stitching process, especially when you start with a weird base ^^
If you have any idea of why the stitching could fail, i'd really be interested in knowing
And if it can help, i'm also adding the final files i used :
- the original file (1,6 Mb / 4096 x 2048) generated through DJI Go App 4 :
DJI Go App 4
- the final file i uploaded to SkyPixel after re-processing the sky + color grading :
DJI Go App 4 improved
Strange thing is that it seems all softs but DJI Go 4 processed the files with having the lighthouse in the center, when DJI Go 4 put it in the left part of the picture (thus making the joining part in the forest and not in the sea)
