Hi guys!

I know it's all guesswork at the moment, but I wanted to get a general opinion on what may be released from DJI on the 28th.

I have heard a lot of speculation about a "Phantom 5", but after doing a little bit of research, i've come to think that it COULD be an Inspire 3.
It seems that the Inspire series has thus far followed a trend.  November 2014, the Inspire 1 was released.  November 2016, the Inspire 2 was released.  November 2018, Inspire 3?

Just looking for thoughts and opinions, perhaps start a discussion on the topic.  Thanks!

If it’s trends your looking at you will know that inspire 2 was released on the same day as P4Pro, so could we see both or none.
I think we might see a new Osmo and maybe a dolly vehicle for ground shots , I’m thinking we might see new app or upgraded go4 .

Sounds about right.

They may do another 2 for 1 deal P5 and IS3.

Yep seems possible.  Just got my P4P V2.0 a couple days ago.  Completely out of stock of the P4P's at all the stores I went.

I would be annoyed if they bring out a dolly cart lol, I'm part way through building a new dolly cart for Miche out of 1 inch steel tube, full suspension, swivel chair and a full 3m crane jib. She seen it on behind the scenes on some film set and she wanted it. Go figure I'm building it.

Haha.  I was so close to buying the I2 as well.  Decided to wait it out.  I know I’d be disappointed if I decided to buy the I2, and have a more impressive drone come out days later.

The teaser on the website doesnt have a single aerial drone shot in it so it's not a drone at all. It's all selfie style shots. Maybe DJI is trying to take the head off of the GoPro snake and releasing an action camera.

I’m changing my vote. After watching the 16 second teaser, it’s definitely another selfie gadget. No new drone announcement at this event.  
I’m very curious what’s going on with P4P unavailability though.

Even though the I1 is an older bird now, she’s still absolutely beautiful.  the sharp edges and mechanics behind it still amazes me after all these years.

Absolutely. Like Andy said, I've only had mine a short time but it is definitely a different quad.

Just got the P4P V2 to hold me over for now, but an Inspire is definitely on my "to get" list.  Absolutely in love with them.

Haha.  I was so tempted to bite the bullet and buy the I2 w/ X5S.  But after a lot of self restraint, I decided to wait it out for the I3.  Can't wait to get one.

Yeah you could say that! I will start another thread here very soon. I haven't had a chance to do much with it. Just connected it to the I1 and did a few test shots. I will say this though so far I am very impressed.

It's a lazy option in comparison but the ease of use coupled with a x7 zoom is very appealing
