Hello all,

I recently did an update to the no fly zone on my P4 and now it shows me in a no fly zone, even though I am not and says "cannot take off". Will I now have to get authorization each time I fly? Is there a way to go back to the previous version?

DJI’s GEO System delineates where it is safe to fly, where flight may raise concerns, and where flight is restricted. GEO zones that prohibit flight are implemented around locations such as airports, power plants, and prisons. They are also implemented temporarily around major stadium events, forest fires, or other emergency situations. Certain GEO zones don’t prohibit flight, but do trigger warnings that inform users of potential risks.

By default, GEO limits flights into or taking off within zones that raise safety or security concerns. If a flight within one of these locations has been authorized, GEO allows users with verified DJI accounts to temporarily unlock or self-authorize their flights. This unlock function is not available for sensitive national-security locations.

I am in Norfolk, I did try to self authorize but it says error 200 and won't let me. That  GEO map does not show any zone, however the go4 app show an authorization zone, but three days ago there was no zone...so what has changed?

Be sure to put in your AC at the top above the map.  The map changes depending on what AC you're flying.

Sorry to hear that. I've decided not to update my database for this very reason. No matter where you live, there are too many 'airports' around. What may be permissible with firmware X suddenly is off limits in firmware Y.

i had same issue emailed flysafe  and problem was fixed within the hour!

I don't believe so.  If that was possible, we'd see P2s buzzing the White House and Washington Monument on a regular basis.

I have also run into the same problem. The new update has placed me in a no fly zone when I am 3 miles from the nearest airport. I have already lost one paying job because I couldn't get my drone to fly. I have also sent emails to flysafe and received no replies. So the individula that said he contacted them and had the issue fixed in an hour is fortunate

I have not heard anything from Dji either,....I guess I will look at other options.

Is there a way to return the aircraft to default settings, like it was when I got it? and then just not update the zones?
