Two pictures from my hometown of Weston Super Mare about 1/2 hour after the sun went down.
They aren’t perfect by any stretch and still lots to learn.

Sell those absolutely fantastic images to the Tourist Department!!
(Sell them for enough to cover this years PfCO and or insurance :-)

I wouldn't mention it to the Tourist Board! North Somerset council are hot on you not flying drones on Weston beach (or, stupidly, from ANY of their land anywhere in the county) without permission which "won't be granted for hobbyists"

I do love the dynamic forward thinking out our local town councils in the UK!!!!! :-)

They can kill any good ideas stone dead with paperwork, admin charges and petty rules which they completely ignore (along with any common sense ) when they do something themselves.

I cam across something similar where I am.  No drones on their land but they could fly one low over a large crowd at one of their events the other day. It was "OK" as they gave the drone operator permission despite it being in breach of the CAA rules.

Just had a thought.....  Don't the  Local Council only have jurisdiction to the High Water mark?  
You could fly from non-council land out to sea and along the high water line.

Though  from what I recall of Weston Super Mud Flats if the council control to the Low Water Mark you will need a Mavic 2 Zoom :-)

Never mind the town council find the people who do the post cards of the area. They would buy the photos. They would only be interested in do you won the photos and the copyright.

There are three parks around greater Bristol/North Somerset which have been allocated for flying drones by the council - Blaise Castle is one of them but you are right about WSM beach.

Parks in Bristol, yes.

Parks in North Somerset, sadly no. I've had quite the discussion with North Somerset council around their drone "regulations" which are restrictive and attempt to enforce things which they cannot enforce (for example they state you can't fly OVER any council property or land).

I had a nice chat with a Policeman last week while flying in North Somerset. He had no issues with what I was doing.

Crazy stuff. Given that Blaise castle, for example, is a few miles north of North Somerset. I'm sure you can find some parks and fly in N. Somerset without the council knowing
