Since for now advance camera setting can only be accessed through the phone, I anticipate using the Osmo Pocket connected to my iPhone 6+ most of the time. I built a handle rig with a cheap phone clamp and attached a cardboard mock-up of the Pocket to see how it would feel. The bottom of the handle has a small quick-release plate for use on a tripod. Looking forward to getting the actual device!  

Can anybody verify if ActivTrack works in 4k60? I was reading one review where they mentioned that ActivTrack only works up to 4k30 but no higher.

Looks like a cool option to a GoPro. Too bad they are excluding over half their potential market. Since the Pocket won't connect to a micro usb port, they exclude almost all Samsung owners. They say it won't even work with an adaptor. I guess this is just another iphone  toy. Too bad. I was going to pre-order. I guess'Il have to look elsewhere.

I have one last question, please.

I understand that even if a micro USB male to USB C adapter is used for an older phone that the Osmo Pocket may still not initialise due to the protocols of USB C may not allow such an adaption to a device using a micro USB port. However, if I initialised the Osmo Pocket on my son's phone which does have a USB C socket, could I then use the Osmo Pocket with my phone running Mimo via the wireless adapter? If so that would be an acceptable workaround for me until I upgrade my own phone. I really would like to use this product to its full potential.

Hi bartosh, Active Track cannot be used in 4k, 60FPS and FPV mode currently.
It is not available in 4k, 60FPS because the CPU will be overloaded, I'm afraid it will not be added temporarily, if there is any update in the future, please note our website.
But Active Track will be available in FPV mode via the future update, thanks for your attention.

Hi there, if you use a Type-C OTG cable (Type-C to USB) to connect the Micro-USB cable, then connect the Osmo Pocket with the mobile phone, it can be activated and used, but the App compatibility cannot be ensured, sorry for the inconvenience.

It would hold the Osmo Pocket, be able to charge it as well as have  display port for live broadcasting for social media as well as a usb connection for external mics that draw power from usb. Would make a great addition for those who vlog from their desks as it would draw power from the computer and give a stable base for the camera.

Isn’t the wireless stand the same thing?  Seems to have a rear USB port that you could use to charge and acts a base for the Osmo Pocket to stand in?

My payment status still says payment authorized just wondering if it will be delivered before the 21st to me as I have a vacation planned. And if so when will the payment status changed from authorized to succesful. (Note that DJI has debited my bank account already 7 days ago) status havent changed since 7 days from ordering.

Can you please provide some further clarification? I received conflicting information from the email support.

You can see my confusion because I received two opposite answers. activtrack at 4k60 is a make or break feature for me as most of my filming will be done for action events(snowboarding, etc).

In the last 6 months most phones that got released have now reverse micro usb. DJI knows this and has introduced the reverse micro usb cable for all the different remotes.
I just bought a Vivo V11, which released at the end of September and am currently still waiting of the first shipment of the reverse micro usb cable.
I really hope that DJI will offer a adapter for reverse micro usb, because a lot of people will start to have the same problem as I have.
Actually I already have three preorders for reverse micro usb cables in my DJI Shop, because for some unknown reason all new android phones in south east asia are getting released with this connector instead of USB-C.

Similar, but not what could be developed, I think. A more diverse dock with the ability to say, use and power a usb condenser mic, or connectivity via hdmi for the purposes of live streaming for vloggers from desktop. Will pick up the wireless/bluetooth stand when its available. Thank you for your thoughts.
