Hey! Just one question! When will the DJI Mimo app be released? I was so excited for this product and I allready reserved one at my local dji place, but then they said, that they cannot sell it to me, because the app is not out yet and it can't be activated without it. why?

I like it, but that price point... Ouch.  The size is very attractive, but for that, I can't see going to this over my Osmo+ or even my Osmo Mobile.  I like it, but fix that price.

What is the focal length of this camera? I am trying to see what market this thing targets. Looks way too narrow and tight for vlogging. And almost no DOF which is pretty standard nowadays for classic dslr + tripod + rode mic state of the art professional vlogging. No interchangable battery also pretty much rules it out as vlogging cam. GoPro is still far more robust without sensitive gimbal, water and dustproof which rules this out as action cam as GoPro is better and proven alternative. So, what market this one is for? Like a family camcorder?

I'm saying goodbye to my gopro. Just ordered one and its a bummer all accessories are out of stock.

Awesome gadget... pitty it does not have any slo-mo capabilities even at FHD (like 120 or 240fps) nor H.265.
At this steep price, I expected a bit more from it. No waterproofing of any kind is also a boomer nowadays.
Non-interchangeable battery is unfortunatelly a deal breaker for me.

Hi eYeSkYeYe, Slow-motion is just not available at the moment, please note the future firmware.
Osmo Pocket is not waterproof but we can use the Osmo Pocket Waterproof Case underwater.
The battery of Osmo Pocket is not interchangeable, if you have any problem, you can always contact us for support.

I have a Galaxy Note 4 that doesn't have a USB-C or Lightning connector.
Why can't it be activated from a PC via USB or wirelessly with the adaptor?

No, it is different from the drone, once we power on, the gimbal will self-check and then we can start recording directly as long as there is enough storage in the SD card.

Typical, I buy a Osmo 2 Mobile then this comes out

This Osmo is to expensive at $347 dollars.  There are already many of products that do the same function as the Osmo that are cheaper.

No Accessories "yet"  I think I'm going to wait until the "combo" packages start arriving.  Will save the frustration of the huge shipping charges just to get needed attachments.

Mindy... No harm meant but I would think the choice to not have any available footage or stills would be a marketing decision, not the engineers. I'm pretty sure you haven't released a camera that's never been tested so where can we find examples of what it actually produces?

I have bought one but can not use as I need the Mimo app to authorise the gimbal. The app isn’t available to download yet so I can’t use the osmo.

Does anybody know when the app will be released for iPhone.

It would be better if DJI can create 3D Mode or Background Blurring when DJI osmo pocket connected to mobile phone and use mobile's camera as secondary camera to give depth for image

Mindy,   I preordered one and need to know if I can register it with my iPad as I do not have a smart phone, just a old dumb one.  Otherwise I may need to cancel the order if I cannot register it so how.
