Is it necessary to update v01.00.01.00 and then v01.00.02.oo or just the new version?

Why don't you wait to see what's installed when you get it?  It may be the latest.

After you are around here for a while you will find DJI admins are prohibited from providing simple, direct answers to simple questions.

To answer yours: You only need to update with the latest version. You can disregard all older versions.
