Just noticed DJI released 4.3.8 on iOS.

Has anyone had a chance to try to fly with it yet and if so does it work well?
Only looks to include 2 minor changes (Optimizes notification messages and Improves firmware update), but it is over 500 MB in size (a lot for 2 small updates??)
I have installed 4.3.8 but the weather does not permit me flying.

Skipped from 4.3.5 to 4.3.8? What happened?

Flew a short 10 min flight with my MA using an iPhone 8 with iOS 12.1 and no issues what so ever with 4.3.8 during the short flight. Did not see any UI differences from DJI Go 4.3.5.

Just installed it, tomorrow I’m gonna test it out and report back here later.

That’s very strange, on my iPad the button RTH on the controller is working

But i cannot image this has got to do with the app update or app anyway as normally you still can control the drone without a device connection.

In order for that function to work you need an iPad with 3g connectivity, as the WiFi models don’t have the gps that’s necessary for that function to work.
I tried on my WiFi only iPad and on my phone.
It works on my phone, but not on the iPad since it’s wifi only.

Flew today 4 batteries on the Mavic Pro and 3 batteries on the spark.
Everything went perfect. The new version of the app is so far without any bugs, glitches or errors
