I am having an issue with the tick box not appearing in the DJI GO 4 app for precision takeoff. I have seen no reference to it in the updated manual.

Could anyone link how to get this working post thanksgiving update?

There is no Precision Takeoff on the M2's

There is no Precision Landing setting to enable for the Mavic 2. If you're running firmware version 1.00.02.00 (or any future release), Precision Landing will automatically be used as long as you take off straight up for at least 23 feet (7 meters) before moving in any direction horizontally.

Semi-incorrect; please see page 19-20 of v1.6 of the Mavic 2 manual (excerpt below):

Precision Landing performance is subject to the following conditions:

a. The Home Point must be recorded upon takeoff and must not be changed during flight, otherwise the aircraft will have no record of the Home Point’s terrain features.
b. During takeoff the aircraft must ascend vertically 7 m before moving horizontally.
c. The Home Point terrain features must remain largely unchanged.
d. The Home Point terrain features must be sufficiently distinctive.
e. The lighting conditions must not be too light or too dark.

The following actions are available during Precision Landing:

a. Throttle down to accelerate landing.
b. Move the control sticks in any other direction to stop Precision Landing. The Mavic 2 Pro/Zoom will descend vertically after the control sticks are released.

You are correct there is no precision take off in Mavic 2, you must take off manually or auto and raise aircraft to a height of 7 metres straight up to obtain information for precision landing.
And this answers the ops question and will save him looking for precision take off in the app.

No problem, I think this set up is far easier than we see in other dji craft.
