Ha ha!! Knowing the kind of people that live in Miami, for sure someone has more than enough money to afford that pool lol!!!

Thanks! I used my Mavic 2 Zoom. Depending on how much wind there is, I like to shoot at low ISOs and longer exposures, around 1 to 2 seconds. I did my regular workflow in Lightroom to bring out the best in these shots

Very impressive especially given the 1/2.3" sensor. Says a lot about all the hype.

Lol yeah! I was getting good results with my Mavic Pro so decided to go with the Zoom instead of the 2Pro. I still would like to try the 2Pro's pictures

Honestly, I could never tell the difference between my P4P and MP footage - it's all marketing IMO. The zoom is clearly the more intelligent option of the two.

There's not much difference when watching footage straight from the drone without any post processing. The really big difference comes when you process the footage. The P4P footage will allow for a wider range in post processing without compromising the quality of the rendered video. The MP will deteriorate very quickly compared to the P4P when color correcting, even in LOG mode. There's a big difference between a 1 inch sensor and the sensor on the MP... but even knowing this I still decided to go with the M2Z .
I like photography more than making videos. So I decided to go with the Zoom because by stitching images together taken from the same distance, I can create higher resolution photos than the P4P and the M2P with their 1 inch sensor. Also that 4x zoom when recording in 1080p is pretty amazing, you can get really close to things without actually flying close to them.

Yeah, after spending most of a Sunday afternoon editing stills and videos the footage was slightly different depending on the light. TBH - I love flying these drones (especially my Inspire) but the footage comes second to me these days. Even after editing the stills the quality between all of the 8 DJI drones I have owned is so marginal that I can't tell which drone I used to take the shot and nobody on here can either - which I know for a fact LOL

you really have to know how to forensically look at a photo or video to know .. I can't..

some can tell by color banding and jpeg artifacting.. they try and point it out to me and unless its gross.. I can't pick up half the stuff they point out..

unless you plan on selling your footage or stills to a agency or studio.. neither will you, your family or friends either.. be able to tell the difference ..

Ansel Adams could have taken his shots with a throw away 110 film camera from a drug store... his composition and lighting knowledge .. that is where the real artistry lies.. its in the eye of the photographer.. not the megapixels

Lol very true! I took a really old canon point and shoot 8mp camera and bought a diving case for it and went diving with it. The images I got from it were not that good out the camera, but after editing them people were asking me what camera I had used. Most were surprised it was not a pro camera

A few years back the Getty (not Villa) had an Ansel Adams show.  They had some of what had been a "museum" set he offered as well as the same prints also by him but developed/processed differently.  It was a very interesting juxtaposition.  Both were his, both the exact same negatives both different.

the original 'lightroom' 'photoshop' were the guys that knew how to process prints..

you could dodge, burn, color process, etc... basically the names for a lot of filters we use today come from the old days of wet prints

you could change the print with paper choice, chemical choice, selective exposure techniques like dodging and burning.. I was taught a couple basics back in college developing black and white prints ... it was fun but long, painful, smelly, slow, and then there were all the chemicals you were exposed to..

interesting buy I much prefer the digital age

I really miss my canon imageproraf wide format printer that I had.. that was money.. 12 color, roll feed, made phenomenal prints

Thats what I always tell people. Now a days anyone can grab a digital camera and take decent photos, since the camera does most of the work for you. I have a deep respect for old school photographers. They did now how to measure light and what settings to use to shoot in that sweet spot.

My dad was a professional back in THE day.  Yup, in his basement darkroom dodging, burning and then spotting.  Weddings, bar mitzvahs and studio sittings.  Working under his dim red bulb.  Probably led to his asthma.

probably a lot of lung cancer among photo processors I bet..

man those chemicals were not cool.... dark poorly ventilated closets most of them!!

much of photography is a lost art never coming back.. try and get good wet prints these days.. not many labs left..

I still have a 35mm and a 120mm camera.. don't think I have pulled them out in years..
