Yesterday I think, I posted a sunset photo that I hurriedly took before a storm that has been forecast to hit.

Well, thankfully it missed us for the most part, and is now moving east and causing havoc.

Looked out this morning to the first snow of winter. Not much but I did have a charged battery for the P3S.
So here is a shot of the yard I took to remember the ice storm that missed us. Thankfully !!!!

Yes, at the arenas and West Edmonton Mall rink.

Take them in, to a Sporting Goods store, for sharpening. Grin

You ever tried to skate on dull blades?

Actually I’ve only been on ice skates once. Didn’t do too bad for someone that had only used roller skates before. “I didn’t break anything “

But then I grew up on a ranch on the plains of NM. Ice rinks weren’t too easy to come by. Lol

Nice place btw. Been through that fair town several times on way to/from Alaska or Yukon.

Ah, so you know the slippery stuff is very dangerous.  Funny how fast gravity works too. Haha

Yes, it’s a fair place to call home, born and raised here. It’s pretty nice in the summer.
But winters are long, so it’s best to have a few hobbies or interests that coincide with cold weather...

If you don’t have skis, skates or a shiny sled, you definately need snowshoes. Hahaha

We all have luck that the gravity is not makes bottom up. If that was so then you´ll need always a ladder to climb down after a fall.
