It's really sad that it's come to this point, where technology like this is required, because so many sUAV pilots break the rules and endanger the safety of our airspace simply because they can't follow rules, or poses any common sense. On that same note, I fully support tech like this to help catch and prosecute pilots who break the rules! We need more legally-abiding pilots!

Well Nice one but again I think all this is necessary because some of us drone flyers are not following the rules...too bad. good to know something like this exist...scary but not surprised.

I'd hazard a guess that most DJI drone flyers play by the rules - and its only a smaller and diminishing number of flyers that knowingly indulge in overtly risky flights. We will find that onboard firmware will resolve the flyaways and neophyte errors - could well see something like the beginner mode being locked until one's flight profile is deemed to be have reached the level 'experienced' to then unlock range restrictions etc.
