Folks,
I want to do a POI on a structure, but take stills and not video..... when I tried this, The camera does not fire....

All the usual stuff apeared (draw the box, set the radius etc).. and when I hit GO, the drone operated normally (got its position and then started doing the orbit), but no camera shots were taken.    I was in 'P' mode not Sport or Tripod....

I want to circle the POI at 1 m/s and take a photo at 1 second intervals..
Does thsis POI feature work only for video????  and how can I get a similar orbit and take photos rather than vids?

Why not just take screen shots?

All these ideas are great, but I thought that the new DJI Orbit function was the simplest one, and so sweet..... draw the box, set the radius and speed, and off you go... hit the camera and it takes pics until the cows come home!

The Litchi Orbit mode will be my next port of call, but I dont think Litchi caters for interval shots on an orbit.....  everything seems to be oriented towards video.

Can you hyperlapse an orbit flight?  Those are separate images???

Hey there! To take still images using Point of Interest (POI) mode, make sure your drone is in the right position and orientation. Then, just tap the shutter button when you're ready to capture the shot. It's that simple!

Yeah this I know. It is basic.
But i want to take automatically photos and a video during one flight. Mix mode.
Mix intervall with QS orbit or helix.
Or during free flight: Video and all two seconds a photo without tapping "Take photo".
You know?
Or during hyperlapse flight 125 photos:
Result one video and 125 pictures, may be to make my own 'better' hyperlapse video.
I have two 256 GByte SD cards: One RC and one Mini 3 pro.
I think that is enough.

Camera Menu Cache is ON
Format 1080p and JPEG
