Hi,

This week I bought the Ronin S. This is my 1st motorised stabilizer and overall, I'm very happy with it.
But one of the reasons I bought this gimball was for it's Motionlapse functionality. This morning I did a 1st test with my Nikon D850.
Gimball was perfectly stabilised but the movement was not smooth at all. (See video). What could be the reason?

Your parameters looks way far from good. Many parameters bigger than 5. Check the balance before run the auto tune.

Hi Raphael, thank you for your reply. To be honest, the parameters aren’t saying me much for the moment.
But now I did a new calibration with excellent results on all 3 axes and here are the results after auto tuning.
What is the parameter I have to take care off?

Hey, now it looks so much better. Probably your problem would be solved. Did you tried with this new parameters?

Not yet due to bad weather, will do a new test later this week. I will keep you informed.

I have noticed the same issue.  I just got the ronin and have shot about 4 motionlapse and all have jitter to some degree.  I usually balance it, balance test, then auto tune before shooting.  I am using a Sony A7iii with the Tamron 28-75 DI iii.  I thought it was the IR skipping shots so I bought the new Sony cable.  Shots seemed more reliable but still has a slight jitter.  I am also running the 1.7 firmware on the Ronin.
