My refurb P4P v2 is on its way!

I have a few questions:

1) I have to link remote (I know this)

2) Do I have to calibrate Compass since this drone comes from west coast and I'm on east coast?

3) Do I have to calibrate IMU as well?

4) And should I also calibrate VPS?

2) There is no way to calibrate the GPS. It would be okay to calibrate the compass though.

3 & 4) You shouldn't have to do these calibrations.

BTW, the fact that it comes from the west to east coast won't make a difference. It would be better to follow the advice in the Phantom Compass Calibration Guide.

Only mentioned because DJI tutorial video recommends compass calibration if moving to a different location.

Do I have to do a firmware refresh with each of my 3 batteries installed in the AC?

Don't think it applies to batteries,  just the AC.

If the battery firmware needs to be updated, you'll see an "Inconsistent Firmware Found" message in DJI GO. If needed, see the detailed firmware installation instructions here (start at Step #21).

Not if they were up to date and if they were not you will be prompted to do so. I am not sure what they do  to require  re-linking and then again you may not even have to do that. I just had my airframe replaced and the only thing that I had to do is link the AC with the RC when I got it back. It only takes a few seconds to do and it is very straight forward.

Yes they were up to date..
Just wasn't sure if it were specific to each AC

They aren't specific to each unique AC, but the firmware needs to match the firmware on the AC. If the firmware doesn't match, DJI GO will prompt you to update it.
