That's always been a possibility which then raises the question about what triggered the whole thing. Surely a number of people must have reported seeing something before a decision was made to close the airport.

And while the Aug. 2 incident on the Ohio base ultimately ended with only minor injuries to one security forces airman, it could have been far worse.
