The thermal resolution smells a bit like it is blown up by software. Comparing all other data and the size of the camera my best guess is that the FLIR Lepton 3.5 is used with a physical resolution of 160x120 px.
Also the price of a Lepton is like 200$, real 640 resolution cores cost about twice the price of an M2E.
[Edit: the first link even sayys it is a Lepton core, so the resolution is definitively not real but blown up a lot (4x). Please DJI, stop putting false claims into the data sheets like H265 for the M2E before. You are only getting buyers upset after the spent a lot of money for your products.]
That's pretty bad of DJI if they are claiming totally false info. 160 vs 640 is a major difference, my FlirOne gen 2 has 160x120 and is only good for about max 10-15ft. I thought 640 sounded too good to be true, but hoped mass production would allow a much lower price. Can't see how 160 will be of any real use in a drone.
DJI, if you read this, and 640 is not accurate, please change your official specs accordingly.
