Hi everyone,
I want to share with you guys a photo edit I had been planning for a long time: A #NightAndDay birdseye view shot at the Marquês do Pombal square in #Lisbon , #Portugal .
The opportunity to create this shot had been slipping through my fingers for quiet some time due to weather conditions and professional constraints.
So, this past September on a low wind day, I took off with my trusty #dji #Spark, after requesting the proper authorizations to fly during the day and at night at voanaboa.pt, and took 3 pictures during the afternoon and 3 pictures during the night.
- For the day shot I recommend setting the White Balance for a sunny or cloudy day as the Auto White Balance colors are usually not ideal to me.
- For the night shot I recommend using the manual photo settings with a low ISO (100) and toggling the Shutter between 1'' to 2'' for some good exposure.
After this comes the more complex work of having to cut, paste, adjust, the lines and the colors and all the detaills you are capable of.
Being no expert in this field myself I was able to achieve this result with Gimp, a free software. But of course you can and should use the software you feel more confortable with to achieve this or an even better result.
Hopefully, I'll have many more of these ideas and opportunities in 2019 with a new more capable drone!
