Just unpacked my new DJI Osmo Pocket.

But when I insert the SDXC card, it say it has an error and has to be replaced.

Its a Sandisk 64 GB class 10 U3 card, which I have used without any issues in my Mavic Air.

I even have 2 identical cards, so I have tried another (similar) card - but the error is the same.

Any recommendations ?

I have just arrived at a kindof remote skiing destination, and am stuck here and cannot buy a new card.

But seriously - these cards are used in the Mavic Air, but the Osmo Pocket throws an error at me.

I have read that class 10 U1 should be enough for write speeds for the Osmo Pocket, so i am really disappointed that I cannot use it.

Please, every idea / tip is highly appreciated.

Cheers,
Tony Fonager

BTW

"I have read that class 10 U1 should be enough for write speeds for the Osmo Pocket"

I had such a card, In fact, it is the very same one that DJI sells. I don't know if it is due to the firmware update, but I was receiving many error messages (slow read) and corrupted files. I went with the U3 and everything is fine.

I tried format - but it came out with “Error -7”

Its like the card is suuuuper slow, sometimes the sd icon is Grey - sometimes its red.

At some point it showed 57gb free, i took a pic and it was busy for minutes.

But no image was saves.

I dont understand - on my Mavic Air and my Olympus camera these cards are super responsive.

Even when shooting RAW panorama or 4K video.

I did not manage to firmware update - it needs 100 MB on sd card for the update !!!

I updated the Pocket with my original 64 Gig U1. No problems.

Unless someone comes up with a solution, it looks like a new card is in your future. I went with the Sandisk extreme Pro

Dji is suggesting the use of cards capable of a write speed of 30Mbps or higher.
Look at their updated facts page here.

If you have used it in another device try formatting it in the device you are going to use before you do anything else. It could be a folder naming thing or a problem with the card's file directory. If it won't let you format in the Pocket then try formatting the card on a laptop or similar and then format in the Pocket.
