Hi. Can you give us any indications when this update will be coming. Going to Japan in 10 days and really cant use the Osmo with the beep at temples and shrines.

You have more chance of dji giving you the winning lottery numbers than giving you a date for FW release, only thing that might help you is last week dji started rolling out some FW for some of their aircraft.
Good luck have a nice time in Japan and hopefully you get the FW needed, can you film inside temples ?

You can basically film in all temples, most just dont let you in with a tripod, you have good chances  getting in with a monopod though. Handheld was no problem in any places i went to last time.

Great news!

On set, shooting behind the scenes. Beep is killing me. I have to roll through full takes. Using card and battery too quickly.

I recently received my Osmo Pocket and, yes, the user should be able to turn off or mute the beep. The smallness of the device for stealth filming is totally undermined by the loud beep unless you started recording before you entered a scene and continued to record without stopping.

It's not even "stealth" filming that the beep kills. This is a pretty cool device to put hidden on the set of a production, like a choir singing a concert, but the beep is a big no-no. Happy to hear it may get fixed, unless the update happens this weekend won't be soon enough for one big event I'll have the Pocket at.

Hi DJI Panda.  Any updates on this announcement?  I have a few weddings to attend and some graduations coming up soon.  Removing the beep will help tremendously.  Thanks.

Once you upgrade, you can turn it off in the Osmo Pocket settings on the device (not from the phone as far as I can tell)

Go into settings and swipe all the way to the left.

Good news! Hope they find a solution fast. Can't even film my kittens when playing... when the Pocket beeps, they stop playing and looking at the Osmo.... :-(

Filming weddings with the beep is an absolute nogo....

I'm imagining the bride and groom exchanging vows, only to be interrupted by a very audible beep.  The bride, the groom, the minister, the bridal party and the guests all turn their gaze towards you, only to see you fumbling with your Osmo Pocket.
