I just purchased an Inspire 2 with the X5S and an extra set of batteries. When I close the case using all four battery slots, the top case hits the battery that sits closest to you in the front. I am sure I could cut the case, but I don't really care to have anything other than stock (I am picky like that).

You can see in the top left of the attached picture where either the mold for the case or the battery has indented the case just near the upper left motor.

Does anyone else have this issue?

You are doing something wrong - the case closes fine with two pairs. Make sure that the batteries are pressed fully into the recess provided..

Well I think you are correct!

I seriously took the drone and batteries out about 50 times. Didn't set the drone in any differently than any other time and the case closed.

The side of the top half along the prop storage should be aligned with the handle on the bottom half.
