My Home point was very high, probably already at 1500ft. Add another 300-400, you get a great view

My good! These pics are nice, are you using some filters or are you taking pic’s “as it is”? Was a long time ago I saw something so good, taken with a drone, thumbs up!

Physical filter (as in ND or CP) - no.
Software "filter" - in a way. No Instagram or any other silly smartphone things. I shoot in RAW and then post-process with Adobe Camera Raw., and, if needed, with Photoshop (latest CC).

I just came across this thread while searching for something, love the pictures, it’s a road I’ve been on a couple of times.

But I must say that the entire Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is a no-fly zone, fires or not. I know AirMap and B4UFly show it accordingly and I’m surprised the drone took off. I’m new to DJI having just acquired a Mavic Air 2, but I would not expect it to take off where you flew.
