Need a bit of help here.  I had 1 battery fail and I bought a new one.  no instructions on how to pair an old battery with a new one.  I charged them together and now get a message of inconsistent battery firmware.

any help would be apprecated.

Just proceed with firmware upgrade slider. Pairing can be done later in Go4 app on battery status page.

The new battery needs to be fair with your aircraft firmware and our application will automatically detect if there will be an inconsistent firmware between the aircraft and the batteries.
