This flight was done manually, the drone connected to my remote controller the whole time. Total flight distance was around 32,000ft (16k out - 16k back) [9,750 meters].Let me know what you think! Footage was shot in auto, no ND filters. 4k30FPS.

That's pretty slick footage!  But I gotta ask....  You flew 32K feet manually, at what appears to be a pretty good height.   All the while with the gimble facing DOWN.
I KNOW you lost sight of the bird.

I KNOW you lost sight of the bird.  

Surprisingly, against the grey sky/puffy clouds maintaining VLOS of the Mavic for far distances is pretty easy - I pretty much just kept my finger pushing full throttle on the stick and looked up to keep my drone within visual line of sight - hence the lack of movement in the gimbal or readjustment of the flight path in the video.

Haha! It's rare that you can even use a swimming pool in Oregon besides mid-Summer, so I'm sure they're not worried just yet.
