On New Years Eve I decided to fly my Mavic 2 Zoom up to capture video of fireworks, however, the evening almost ended in disaster when a stray flying ground bloom almost collided with my Mavic! Thankfully it was just a near miss, which you can see 12 seconds in. After that I put a lot more distance between the drone and any skyward shooting explosives!

Another little piece of advice : if possible, add some of the ground in the frame as well.
That gives the fireworks some perspective.
(I'm sure you tried that, but if not that would be my advice for next time )

I wish I could have had some of the ground in the video, but it was just too dark! Would have been better had the fireworks been at dusk rather than in the full dark of night.

Yes, you need some artificial light to see something on the ground but also make sure the FW does not over expose.

There's also the issue of noise at high ISO's to consider, especially when trying to get slow motion footage which requires a higher frame rate.

Yes, I only use 25fps with low light.
Otherwise the shutterspeed needs to be too high.
There is a tradeoff in all situations, but I'd rather have some noise and still a sharp and interesting frame than noise free, but most black.

You make a fair point regarding noise - it's better to get the shot and have it be noisy than not to get the shot at all!

The lowest I ever go in terms of framerate is 30fps. I know 24 or 25 is supposed to better than 30fps, and it looks fine in everyone else's videos, but when I'm editing and reviewing footage I I like having those extra frames to work with. However, it's definitely worth considering changing on that for me to get a few more stops of brightness in dim conditions.

I'm in Europe here. So 30fps is not really nice for me. Unless I plan on slowing things down.
Nothing 'better or worse', just that our system is based on 25/50 fps and my other camera is stuck in 'pal' modus.
