We lost our Phantom 4 running with the Itchi App.
Is it possible to find it with the 'Find my drone' function when the flight was done with the Itchi App?


Here is the logg from the Itchi App:
Strange how the drone flight backwards and pretty fast before loosing connetion ....
However, the drone was close to some high voltage cables ...


Any suggestions how to find the drone would be highly appreciated:

Btw, I opened the file with best results with 'Numbers' on my Mac.
Otherwise, it can be read with Excel on PC.

What’s itchi? Are you referring to Litchi? https://flylitchi.com/new
I don’t know. If your drone has a rash, or it had a crash exactly, well you know...

You may be out of luck, if you can’t Upload the correct flight LOG, required to diagnose the missing drone.

The find my drone will provide you the last location of your drone when it was connected to the DJI GO 4 app and remote controller. The log we sent is a Litchi .csv log.
And we could not find the drone on the last location.
Can you see more from flight data if we submit those?
There was still 58% battery left when it lost connection.
Why did it not return?

What do you mean by flight data vs. log?

You took off with a 90% Battery, I’m not sure that was the correct reading, from an open clear area.
Then with several turns along the way, you meandered over towards a large group of trees with 60% of voltage.
That seems to be where your connection was lost. May I presume the drone is in amongst those trees.

With miles of clear unobstructed sky to your left or right, you flew towards the forest...
I think the trees became an obstruction, and you lost connection to-from the aircraft.
Was RTH turned on, and was the return height above those trees?

Because RTH does not work if the aircraft is in ATTI mode. Whether you selected ATTI mode, accidentally or otherwise, once the aircraft is in that mode, you have no RTH capability. In ATTI mode, once the connection is lost, the aircraft will drift in the direction of the prevailing wind until the battery reaches a critical level in which case it will auto-land. That's if it does not strike an obstacle first. If the aircraft drifted onwards, the Find My Drone feature will not work either.

As mentioned, RTH function is not accessible while flying in Atti mode.
At 60% Battery it may have travelled quite a distance. Before setting down, into the unknown.

I hope you had some identification written on or in the drone, in case it’s found by an honest individual out there.
