With video's like this coming out on a daily basis and similiar post's on this forum..............

I have only tinkered with my Pocket the last few week's at home due to my work schedule.If mine fail's like it seem's most are in the last few day's DJI you better step up and I mean it!I am beyond my return date.WTF is going on with this product???Function's like story mode and such promised in the promo ad's and now all of these massive fail's just tell's me DJI used us all as guinea pigs to cash in on the Christmas holiday to make bank.DJI you better fix this NOW!

what do you think, how many Osmo Pockets have been
sold so far? A few of them have major problems.

Actually it IS very disturbing, overall it seems DJI rushed their release and not beta tested it enough.the impression that we early adopters are their betas seems reasonable.

I wonder if there is any chance this could be SD card related, the GoPro session 5,hero blk 5 really suffered from this type of issue when  certain SD cards were used. They got hot and exhibited similar issues.

Probably a long shot but it’s possible. It would be interesting to find out which SD cards were in the failed units .

Also I bought a GoPro Karma grip which had a totally flat battery from the box, it ended up taking 16hrs to charge and failed every firmware update, The battery would go completely dead after a few days in its storage case. I eventually took it back for a replacement which had none of the issues and worked flawlessly.

Just a thought but could these units have defective batteries or charging port?

Fingers crossed it’s a bad batch, if my unit fails I don’t know if I will buy another the generated heat this thing put out is a bit worrying as it cannot be good for the battery.

What makes you think I don’t own one, I own an Osmo orignal a zenmuse 1 mobile and an Osmo Pocket , just check under my avatar you will see this.
It’s not a stupid comment, I have and many others have been using OP quite a lot over the last few weeks, and while FW is not up to date and some focus issues in low light, I don’t believe it’s cause for the usual rhetoric of is this going to happen to all osmos , should dji recall all Osmo Pocket ,  for those having serious issues and I have read very few, they can exercise their warranty, for those with issues regarding the need for FW updates, this forum is a great place to come and try to push the issues on, but we must be real and not get carried away here.

It’s not a problem, No need for an apology,but just like you I want issues sorted sooner rather than later and am hoping for release of FW in the next two weeks .

Right! The frustration is understandable, but it does not have to be discussed here like this. Send the thing back and you will get a new one.
My works 1A (well, the firmware is still missing, but hopefully comes before the Chinese New Year ).
Have already worn some GoPros and gave the last one with the cosh-gimbal away.
I'm very happy with the little thing. A good decision... at the moment

Are you talking about me???Right now I own my Osmo Pocket,Mavic Air and my Phantom 4.I sold my Phantom 3 about 2 year's ago.Been buying DJI product's for years.I love their product's........I just hate their deceitful marketing techniques.

It’s incredibly versatile and has the best pano of all osmos IMO , it’s video qualities are extremely good some problems with focus hunting/pumping but hoping next FW will sort this, low light not brilliant for video but quite acceptable, outdoor video is really good so far from 1080p up To 4K.

I also have pumping on my Osmo Mobile + iPhone SE.
Just need to fix focus and I'm good.
I think the AF is triggered by the movement of the gimbal.

That is because I don't use the Go app.
I have Filmic Pro and Movie Pro but I just fix focus before pressing rec.
That works best anyway.
