Hi,

I have an X3 that came off my Inspire 1 that was using on my Osmo without any issues a year ago, was running OSMO firmware v1.8.2.40.

I tried connecting to DJI Go App on my Iphone 6 and had no video feed or data but gimbal functions worked fine, so decided to update firmware via SD to see if resolved issue. No luck.

I'm now using an Iphone XR, and Osmo doesn't even pop up on wifi in order to connect to DJI Go App.

Have tried the following:

- numerous wifi factory resets (trigger, shutter, power button)
- numerous firmware flash attempts (trigger, record, power button for 3/5 secs) that usually fail after around 5mins with solid red and continuous double beep
- another reset suggested in forum wherby held the trio of buttons above for 8/10 seconds until system status light flashed green/red, but never went solid green as described
- reformating numerous SD cards in exFAT and FAT
- trying various firmware versions starting at v1.4 until latest v1.11
- unistalling and reinstalling DJI app on Iphone
- using various batteries
- disconnecting gimbal from handle and checking/cleaning connectors

All my log files show failed, however something strange is that all dates are 2014.01.01 for various packets listed as OSMO_FW_V01 etc, aside from one at the top which has FW_V99.99.99.99.bin and that skipped: WM610_FW_V01.09.01.30.bin. See below.

Something to note is that Osmo works no problem! I can record film, take photos and all gimbal functions work fine. Just that I don't have a phone as a view-finder and can only check out footage after transfering files on my MacBook. Unfortunately for the work I'm doing, I cannot do without Iphone/DJI Go interface.

Any ideas/insights would be much appreciated as currently in Italy without easy access to DJI service and need the unit back online before Thursday for some filming!

Hi Shannon, we are so sorry for the troubles with Osmo, WM610_FW_V01.09.01.30.bin is the firmware of Inspire 1. Please check the connector of the gimbal and the handle and clean the PIN, then update again, if it keeps failing, the device will need to be sent in for further evaluation. In addition, may I verify if you tried to mount the X3 to the Inspire 1 to see if it works?
