The Mavic Air was released on January 28, while the bigger Mavic Pro was released a bit earlier, and there's also the Mavic Pro Platinum. The Mavic Air isn't neccesarily better because it was released later, or is it? I wanted to see what you guys thought, IMO Mavic Platinum is probably the best of the three.

Mavic Pro in my opinion is superior to mavic air in every single way apart from a little worse camera.
But camera is nothing when you loose coonection all the time, you can’t see what to film!

It depends on many things, first what are you going to use it for.
Longer Flights: Pro
Better tech: Air
Better Camera: Air (just)
Speed: Air
Better signal: Pro
Portability: Air
Features: Air (just)
Low light: Air
Etc etc etc

They are both great just depends what you want to use it for.

as an owner of a mavic air and previous owner of a mavic pro.   i will say this, if DJi put some form of occusync in the mavic air it would be the perfect travel drone..     

battery life and wireless connectivity/reliability = mavic pro  

just about everything else = mavic air.   

as for low light, both suck.. if your getting a drone for low light photography/videos, neither of these drones are ideal by huge margins.  but mavic air does have less noise in video and seems to capture a bit more light...
