Hi there,

I'm trying to figure out how to equip/configure my Matrice 100 to sample signal strengths of other RF emitters. I don't think the drone has onboard WiFi so I'm wondering if I could couple it with an AP to perform the measurements. Any feedback is appreciated.

Original problem was resolved, so I've updated the previous post accordingly with more pertinent info.

I believe that if we are using ROS (Robot Operating System), then we can use Python by writing our own Python nodes, which are Python script files. I know because I am a robotics software engineer and the company that I work at writes almost exclusively in Python in ROS.

The C++ and Python files can be used together, as they communicate with each other (with different nodes) over "topics'.
