So I just recently bought a used ronin m gimbal. It is in great  condition however the rubber on the handle bars is starting to dissolve.

I  contacted the support and asked for a rubber replacement part. The  staff told me that DJI does not sell only the rubber grip and that I  have to purchase the complete handle bars. That's 250€ which is almost  as much as I paid for the whole gimbal. And it does not fix the top  handle bar. I tried going another route and replace the rubber with  aftermarket bike grips and I want to share my findings with the  community.

The  new grips work absolutely flawless and are much more durable than the  original handles. Luckily DJI uses a standardized lock on mounting  system. You need to go for 32 mm diameter and atleast 137 mm width.  In my local bike shop I found quite a big selection of fitting grips.  In my case I used grips that are 145 mm in width since I am almost 2m  tall and got quite big hands. I like the extra space to easily grab the  gimbal. In total I paid 35€ for three handles.
