Hi guys,

Today for the first time ever I had a red warning appear before take off. It said gimbal needed calibrating and that I needed to use DJI Assistant to do it. I tried a quick gimbal calibration through the dji go 4 app and it worked fine, but again on take off it displayed a red gimbal warning.

So i get home and try to perform the calibration but it just wont start. First thing my tv size is not recognised so i have to put that in then the screen it takes me to does nothing and i have to hit exit full screen mode. Next i click nect on the four tutorial pages showing you how to calibrate. Then it pops up the option to calibrate but for me its always greyed out with a spining loading icon next to it.

Here is a screenshot

When i first unpacked my new M2P this section worked just fine.

And before any says to disable the driver thing, I have already tried that twice with the same results.

Anyone know a way around this please?

Thanks

Hi there, thank you for reaching out and we're sorry to hear about the trouble. With regards to that make sure first you have the latest DJI Assistant 2 and Already disabled the driver signature enforcement if you are using windows 8 up. It is recommended to use a monitor with a size of 14 inches or more, and a curved screen is not supposed to be used.
Set the display resolution to the recommended value (usually 14 inches for 1366*768 or 1440*900; 17 inches for 1366*768 or 1280*720; 19 inches for 1366*768 or 1440*900; 22 inches for 1680) *1050 or 1920*1080; 24 inches for 1920*1080 or 1920*1200);
Try to restart your computer and aircraft multiple times.

Hi, sorry, I am on windows 10 pro and I have a 4k TV and no monitor. I cannot change the resolution of my TV?

Why is this still such a big issue for DJI customers?

Sorry I have just seen amount of other posts regarding this issue dating back almost 2 years!

So I have a curved monitor. After a slight crash, my Mavic needed a new cable. I replaced that quite easily but it would not calibrate like what so ever. I tried for like 2 weeks. Every time it would fail at 78%. I actually have two monitors and I never thought to try the flat one. First try, calibrates perfectly. Thanks for telling me this I would have never thought to switch monitor.

I recently had the exact same problem, Windows 10, I tried manually installing the vision driver after rebooting with the shift key held down, and selecting the option 7, then running the 64 bit installer in the vision folder, all to no avail.

What worked for me was,

Uninstall he very latest DJI assistant for Mavic2pro.
Reboot PC with shift key held down.
Selected the option "allow unsigned drivers" by pressing 7 from the menu.

Now installed DJI assistant using Admin mode.
Allowed the unsigned driver to instal.

When finished installing ran the program, hey presto the calibrate button was working, clicked it followed the guidance on the screen.

All resolved, computation took about two minutes to complete at the end.

21" IIYAMA Monitor was connected by DVI  cable, never had to enter a size in Windows, the screen driver in Win10 was generic.

Good luck.

This is the Mavic 2 pro forum, please use the Mavic Pro area to request help. Loved my original Mavic Pro, a great drone.
