My galaxy s9 sees the module but I can't get any further then that. The app just freezes and I cant get further then this screen.

set wifi 2.4GHz -
if no connection try "airplane mode" on smartphone and connect with wifi

For all you guys having problem with the connection on Android -> disable "Mobile Data" in settings. Worked for me on Nexus 5X. DJI, we are waiting for the firmware update to fix this bug!

My ASUS ZenFone Max (2015) connects surprisingly well via WiFi, and stable. But Bluetooth, can't.

Oneplus 6 here, succes.

Seems you have to put it in airplane mode for some Android devices before it works.

Galaxy S10Plus.  Could not get it to work.  After and hour, I did.  Here were my steps:
1) Delete the Mimo App from your phone.
2) Reset the OP device settings
3) Removed the OP from my phone's bluetooth list.
4) Removed from my phone's wifi list.
5) Reboot phone.
6) Connect phone via USB to OP.
7) Go through the set up
8) **TURN OFF OP**
9) Disconnect the phone and connect wireless module to OP and turn on.
10) Go into Mimo app.  ***DO NOT CONNECT VIA YOUR PHONE BLUETOOTH OR WIFI***  Let the app do it.  In the Mimo app, connect to the device via the app.  It will set up the bluetooth and then the wifi automagically.

No problem connecting with iphone Xs max iOS 12.3 , Mimo v1.1.6 and OP firmware v01.08.00.20

Not working for me, tried 2 & 5 ghz, LED keeps red even it connect to WiFi, Bluetooth neither.  Samsung Note 9.

Connection doesn't work with:
Mimo 1.1.8
Osmo 01.08.00.20

Works well with iPad Mini4
Problems with Honor 9.

Workaround that finally established a connection on Honor 9:
Navigate in OP Menu to Settings > Accessories > Wifi and switch to 2,4 (slide left to get to this setting).
You have to watch carefully what your mobile screen asks from you and act accordingly.
Connection has some blackouts but is better than buying a Wifi-Kit and not be able to connect at all,
as this would be a pretty expensive stand.

Since this problem seems pretty common on Android devices a fix for a more stable connection would be highly appreciated.
Still.

Hope that might help someone as it is pretty frustrating experience.

PS: Oh yes, cellular data off seems to be helpful as well.

I installed the dji osmo pocket on two android devices with the new firmware 01.09.00.20 and after this


The Wifi name OsmoPocket-F8953E is not visible in my phone to connect with the wifi from my phone.

Oke I find it.

I face the same issues with Galaxy Note 9 (SM-N960U1). Very hard to connect. Also extension rod did not support usb port so I have to use the wireless or extension cable. Terrible!

iPhone Xr - no problem, connected first time, no issues. Good luck to the 'droid users having challenges connecting.

With Moto x4 running android 9 had to turn off cell data then connected fine.

I was able to connect to my amazon fire tablet with no issue, but, of course, that is wireless only (no sim card).

I had the same issues as other noted above. I switched on airplane mode then turned on wifi and Bluetooth - works every time. Hope this helps others

galaxy s8plus and galaxy s6 no luck. DJI last warning before selling device and giving lowest possible note. You should check ecosystem before selling goods. This is not a holliday bazaar, you are very serious company

Using Huawei P10 lite it connects for 5 days and now connection fail. Doesn't connect with the wifi

Osom pocket dose not connect with my i phone

Hello every one  my osmo pocket wireless module dose not connect
With my i phone x max   I tried many ways to solve it but no help
Any ways to solve this issue

Huawei mate 10 pro. Mimo can find pocket 2, but can never connect it.  It’s not shown on the wifi list. Switched off the WLAN+,and tried to reset cellphone wifi setting. Still doesn't work.

Solved. Hard connected with my cell phone and changed the wifi to 2.4 .
