Hello everybody!
Total noob here.
Got my first UAV, DJI Mavic Pro Platinum last September, before my two week trip to Colorado. Learned "on a job" so to speak.
Realized I wanted a better camera, sold MPP and got Mavic 2 Pro in November.
Almost immediately after the entire area became a NFZ due to the worst wildfires in the history of California, so didn't have too many chances to fly.
But once the ban was lifted I managed to steal a shot here and there.
Anyway, here are some pictures I took last year.

Woolsey Fire
Taken from above my house in Thousand Oaks, before the whole area became a NFZ.
A couple of hours later we were ordered to evacuate. Luckily it was for one night only, and no damage was done to our house.
That said, some people in those hills were not that lucky... 
Balanced Rock
Located in the heart of Santa Monica Mountains, this local attraction was my target for many years. I finally got the chance to visit it after the fires.
You can see the lack of the underbrush and scorched manzanitas on the hills where the fire passed through (and compare to the untouched areas in the background).
