My Osmo is still at 1.2.00.2. Update for 1.3 etc. does not come up when accessing MIMO with Android thought the camera features come on. I have plenty of room on SD micro card.

I had a similar problem originally. Ensuring I had the latest version of the MIMO App installed along with a newly reformatted card in the OP (I.e no other files on it) resolved the problem for me.
