While likely an overkill for me, but can afford it, have been vacillating between z7 and z5r and decided that I'd likely end up buying the 7 evenutally, so bite the bullet. Not being familiar with the 7 nor the 5, the 'new' DL mount as well, are there any compatible zooms that can be adapted. Eg. the Lumin 17-24 (not sure of the range right now) worked on the 5, so are there adapters. Looking for a knowledgeable person. I guess I can contact a DJI store?

You'll have a lot more lens options with the X5S than with the X7? Are you planning to shoot 6K RAW footage? If not I highly recommend going with the X5S. 6K RAW footage requires a powerful computer to process and render such quality.
