Anyone know if a lanyard is available yet? I can't believe they never included this as original equipment.
Would hate to drop it........you know it's bound to happen.
Hopefully accessory companies will make them soon.

Saw some people make it themselves on YouTube and maybe you can find some on amazon/ebay

I’m not sure what the two screw holes are for on the bottom of controller, but they would make an ideal platform for a lanyard.

Do you think the 2 holes will fit a standard D-ring screw. These are common to most cameras, gopros, tripods.......basically camera stuff.
The D-ring screws are cheap and will be perfect it fits. Just clip on a lanyard and we are good to go.

I’m sure of the size, but one thing I can tell you is you need a screw with same dimensions as the RC sticks which fit those holes perfectly . Let us know how you get on .

Check out the dji store,, also "mavmount" has lanyard about eleven bucks..

There is no lanyard on the DJI site so far.

I'll get my SRC later this week hopefully. I'll order these and see if they fit. Got a lanyard already.

I did see a Lanyard at Mavmount, and I have no idea of the holes you are talking about.  But thanks for putting up the idea.

Let us know how it goes. I just ordered and should receive it (hopefully) this week. I already have a DJI lanyard itching to be used.

I found this lanyard on the auction site. While I do like it, it doesn’t tilt the controller to where you can see the screen when you aren’t holding it (If you have other RC’s, you know what I am talking about).

Well the above D-ring screws that i got from Camkix doesn't fit the threads on the new SRC. The D-ring screw is too big. Got to look for D-ring screw that is smaller in diameter.
If anyone knows where to just get the D-ring screws alone or if they know the proper sizing. Please let us know. I bought a nice lanyard that will fit......so just need to attatch it.

Thanks for finding that video! I'll head to home depot tomorrow to see what i can find for fasteners to use with my strap.

It might not be the prettiest attatchment. But it will do for now. Got the screws and D-rings from Home Depot. Total cost $5.62. Had the lanyard already.
Now i'll feel more secure and my hands can be more free with SRC strapped around me.

The screw size was a metric #4 thread- 6mm long. The D-rings were in the same aisle as the screws. These were by the picture frame hanging stuff. There were a few that i could have chosen.

You are right. These are too big for sure. M4 is the correct threading.

Here's my evolution.  Trying to use the one-link mavmount lanyard.  Did not like it - swung too freely and twisted around.  Using the d-rings and nice flush pan header 4mm screws showing the clips (green wire will go).  Showing inner tube segments to protect the screen from the clips.  I'm going to try finding smaller d-rings (while Amazon has black ones, they came in quantities of 100!!!)

Any solution for anchoring the lanyard somewhere near the center of gravity? Not sure I like currently proposed solutions.

If you hook lanyard to the screw holes on the bottom, this is the best place to both support and it’s probably the most comfortable solution.
