I ordered the DJI Smart Controller and got it yesterday. Ik already regret it.
DJI said that the Smart Controller supports third-party apps but it isn't. I use the DJI Do-4-app and the Litchi-app to fly, but now I can't use the Litchi-app anymore for missions.


There is only 1 thing to do, make the Litchi-app work or I have to sell it allready !!!!!

Yes, I first downloaded the Amazon app and then (via) Amazon the litchi-app. I paid for the second time for Litchi but it can not connect to my DJI Mavic Zoom.

You probably need to contact litchi they might give you explanation for this and when it will be compatible with smart controller.

Third-party applications can be installed with our Smart remote controller, however, since it's a third-party application I'm afraid that we can't guarantee the performance of the app if this would work properly due to compatibility matter. You may refer to the image below. Thank you for understanding.

I believe we will need litchi to update for new SRC I read somewhere they are working on it.

The same happens with the Pilot app and is the reason why it is impossible to use smart controller with the M2E.

I think the problem is that no other apps then DJI GO 4 which is pre-installed has the needed permissions to recognize the connected Drone. Hope DJI will fix this soon to make the smart controller compatible with the Enterprise Mavic.

I think enterprise is paramount to the success of this product, so I don’t think it will take to long, fingers crossed.

You might have to return it. This is the message I received from Litchi.

It's just a matter of time.

I use Litchi. Did my research first. Knew it didn't work with Litchi, bought it anyway and the SRC has been exactly what I wanted. No complaints.

Litchi is so popular, the SRC will come down in cost and will be common device for future DJI customers and DII drones . Litchi will be supported.

Just give it time.

I'm receiving mine today.  Have you killed the Go app before launching the Litchi app?  

I maybe found how app developers get there apps work on smart controller. So if any developers are here pm me so i can tell you what i maybe found out

I only use one 3rd party application and this is Litchi.
I have posted a few times about this but nothing so far.
Do hope DJI opens it soon for us!
