Descending problem in Active Track or Follow me

Hi, I would like to know, if there is experiences what is the best way of making skiing / downhill videos.
NOTE: I know, that mavic air has problem to descend on Active Track mode. Using RC connected with Android
I tried these thinks today
1. Active Track mode, and I had to push down the lever. After 20sec, I lost the subject.
2. Smart capture - follow me. Working fine with slow speed. When speed increases, tha mavic air lost the subject. Other question is the altitute. We had problem to control aircraft via gesture and setup higher altitute. It could be then dangerous for others above skier.


So question is, is there any way how to for example go 500m downhill without piloting.
I was thinking about litchi, but has anyone exp with that follow me? Will that work?

I also tried download Red Waypoint app, but it doesn't work.

The best Luck ive had with Active Track was targeting a car going straight on a 25mph speed limit road

Honestly I think you got pretty good results n its a nice video . maybe try adjusting ur gimble speed and angle . Looks like the gimble was as high as it could go and as you and the drone started down hill and picked up speed the camera couldn't rotate up to keep you centered . try starting off with the camera facing more down

What drone was that ? not a MA

As far as I’m aware, the drone can’t follow you downhill, only uphill. Well the Mavic Pro anyway, it has terrain follow feature, in which the drone raises its altitude if the subject also raises his,
But the drone can’t lower its altitude, only raise.
So it’s not possible to film yourself skiing downhill, I don’t think so.

Its a 360 camera on a stick with electronic stabilisation reframed (overcapture) back to 16:9.Its legal everywhere (except toilets and changerooms).
