Because the OP doesn't have a tripod mount ability. And the fact that the extension kit isn't available here in NL I build my own solution
for a tripod mount. It's super duper fancy and you need
- A Tripod
- Osmo Pocket
- Tape
Here is the result

How well does it record audio? Not well, is my guess...

This proves that at the end of the day, what matters the most is the creativity and ingenuity to get the job done.  The end result will still be the same.  I love it!

In the infamous words of Red Green - The handyman's secret weapon - duct tape.

I have to shoot all day and have been with the old OSMO. I have 8 of them. When I saw the Pocket, I thought that it would be a great replacement. BUT- There is no way to replace the battery or charge the phone while using it.
This is my solution. The biggest drawback is that the angle of view is not as wide as the old OSMO and I am shooting tight interiors.

Sorry- I didn't realize the photos are at the wrong angle until after I posted them.

Thank you for the inspiration... I'm working on a similar solution that involves Velcro (aka the ole hook n' loop fasteners).  It involves placing the loop portions of the tape to various parts of my clothing, and the hook part of the tape to the back and bottom of the OP..... Just imagine....

I use it for motion and timelapsing so I didn't need the mics. But in what situation do you need to record the audio and need a tripod mount where de audio of the PO is good enough to use?

That's an intriguing setup you got there sir. I have two components myself. The manfreto mini tripod stand, and the PO. But what the heck do you have on there ahhahaha. Love it

That works great too . I don't have such a clamp. And some mounts are underway from the different brands to test it out. But this a good solution sir ;)
