Did someone around here have any luck using the Panasonic Lumix G Vario 35-100 mm ASPH 4.0-5.6 on Inspire 2 with X5S?

I can't get it to work.

So far I tried to calibrate it using

- iPad 2017, GO4 version 4.0.4
- iPad mini 2, GO4 version 4.3.9
- Huawei P8 Lite 2017, GO4 version 4.2.21
- Huawei P8 Lite 2017, GO4 version 4.3.11

On the iPads the app freezes - not entirely, though, just the camera controls, but still. On the Android phones the app remains fully functional, but still the calibrating procedures does not work. There is no enlarged image, no beep, no white 'OK' to tap on for confirmation.

When the app freezes, the only thing that helps is to power cycle the I2.

I know there are folks out there working with that lens. So there has to be a way to get it calibrated. But how?
