I cant find any information if you can mount the wifi module on a tripod? Does anyone know if its possible?

You could use a Super Clamp. That  would allow you to mount the OP to any tripod with the wifi module attached to the OP.

Yes it is. DJI makes a action cam bracket (GoPro Style) and also Skyreat and others. There's also one 3D printed solution that fits the wireless module (skip to 03:50 if you don't wish to watch the whole video).
