Right, if you like connect to computer, you need the USB cable. But if you like to connect two remotes thgether you need the cable with 2 audio jack.

Me you need to cross TX and RX like:

TX   --------------------  RX
RX   --------------------  TX
GND -------------------- GND

DJI shold give more informations.

Do does Heli-x5 have all the features like our copters have?  All the NAZA mode stuff, and that kind of stuff?  Or is it mainly up down left right to learn the main controls?

Dear Song,

for the training cable, pls write an email to .

DJI-Jolie will the training cable be made available to order online? Additionally I have seen posts on a group I am a member of that the new transmitter with the dial is being advertised that it includes a USB cable. I did not receive one. If I indeed should have received one how do I go about getting it? The group I mentioned is a Facebook group that consists of over 5,000 members. For those of you who see this post and would like to join the group here is the link to do so: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Vision.Plus.Owners/photos/

Dear Song,

I just received this answer from Jolie (representing support@dji.com) for my question at the bottom:
>  you can simply use the cable from your heli-x simulator.

The problem is that I don't have a cable for heli-x simulator. I downloaded the simulator over the internet.

I can see that the trainer port connects to a 3.5mm stereo plug. What I want to know is how it is connected to the computer. Does it produce analog signals that can be connected to mic input ? or does it produce digital signals that should be connected to usb port ?

My original question was:
>>I just purchased a phantom 2 with the new transmitter that
>>has a training port.
>>
>>Training port was the main reason for me to select this
>>version. But unfortunately there is no cable for this port
>>in the package. At first inspection, I could not figure
>>out how to use it.
>>
>>I would appreciate if you could kindly give me some info
>>(pinouts etc.) so that I can produce a cable to be used
>>with heli-x simulator.

sevgum, from what I've found out, it's the mini-jack to USB cable, and is less than 10 dollars USD.  The sim program suggested by others, Phoenix 5, is over 100 USD, so I won't be getting it.  When a sim program that is just for these quads becomes available at a much lower price, I would buy it.

knarfboy gives you the cheapest cable : connect it to the microphone input of your computer, the other end to your Rc controller.

Yes, the analog sound will be converted to numeric signals ...

Just download, install  and run
http://smartpropoplus.sourceforge.net/site/index.php/download
Then, just check everything is OK :

Adjust the micro volume :

follow my settings :

Download and install helix 6 (the demo version is really great)

At this point, you cannot fly : you have to calibrate your controller :
go here

Click on the first left button (manettes in french) and follow the calibration procedure
It works great at home, I had this cable, so I spent 0€ for it !
