I just got the expansion kit for my new DJI OSMO Pocket. I also purchased some other accessories from ebay, including a clip mount and a USB-C to 3.5 mm microphone adapter. In the video below I show you how all the accessories work and test out the wirless module using my phone as a remote for active tracking setup.

I have the same selfie stick set up.  I had the phone mounted to the stick originally, then I got a neck holder for the phone which I find more convenient and easier to use.

That's a cool idea. Looks stronger than the stick phone mount I got from ebay. The screw mount broke on first use. I glued it back together and reinforced it so it woks fine now.

How durable is that neck holder?

It is good enough.  The bendable bits hold well and remain stable.  The phone clips right in, secure.  I am sure the quality would diminish over time, but its cheap.  I would buy a new one.

I got an adapter form ebay and it still didn't work.

and it won't work...how many millions of people have to try and fail before people finally realize the mic jack is NOT ENABLED YET.....FIRMWARE UPDATE!!!!!

I do not think a firmware update is needed!

User dcrainmaker never did a firmware update and got it working with the original adapter.
