I've just bought one of these, it works as a charging stand and has a 1/4" for tripod connection on the bottom, usb C connections on both sides

It’s a very neat option I like the option of having USBC on the side.

Nice option.  Ulanzi (.com) has been around for a number of years and made some very innovative photo based products.   The price seems right, too.

Just tried charging and connecting my iphone with the docks 2 USB C connections
Unfortunatly you can only charge or connect to the phone NOT both

Well it looks cool and very useful

It appears to cover the bottom microphone. DOH!

I use it for time lapse and charging  otherwise use it handheld. Or use along with an external audio recorder for much better audio
