I fly Phantoms and use the Go 4 app. I have an Inspire 1 with X5 coming in soon and started to do some research and keep running into tutorials re: the 'Pilot' app. Am I to understand, or is this old data, that the Inspire uses different software (Pilot?) and not the Go 4 app? Presume download from DJI?

Hi there, thank you for reaching out with regards to your question for the Inspire 1 it seems you see the old video tutorial. For the Reason, DJI Pilot app is optimized now for enterprise aircraft and the app that you'll need would be the DJI Go app.

My CrystalSky Ultra has Go and Go 4 so it appears I'm all set?

Yes right you need to use the DJI Go for the Inspire 1 and yes you are all set then. Cheers!

DJI GO is for any drone made before the Phantom 4.
DJI GO 4 is for and drone made from Phantom 4 and now
