May have to buy another controller and iPad mini to easily get mapping software & other apps to use my p4p+ system (or P4P drone).
I have the opportunity locally to get a GL300A but don't know if it's going to be compatible with my drone (p4p+).

Read threads that mention this issue but none that specifically say they are or are not compatible.

I did read one thread that stated the GL300A is 2.4ghz only.

The P4P+ can use both freqs, 2.4 and 5.8. Don't know if that would be an issue or not,


Anyone been down this road?

The GL300A is not compatible with the P4P.

Hi, thanks for the inquiry. Sorry that the GL300A is only compatible with Phantom 3 Advanced and Phantom 3 Pro. I'm afraid that this remote is not compatible with our Phantom 4 Pro. We do appreciate your understanding. Please let us know if you have other concern.
