I've been brave with it myself. Once I flew it over a pond with hundreds of ducks. I was so afraid they were going to fly up and knock my drone out of the sky. Good work!

Jarvis’Dad, I disturbed a heap of roosting pigeons when I was taking some footage of the 13th Century Newport Castle, in Wales, and ran into a swarm of bees, just recently, here in Adelaide.  Both videos are on my YouTube channel, http://www.youtube.com/user/homecedo.  The bees video is quite funny.

Thanks MccloudSpark, not too long to wait now.

It warmed up to 40F today so went out for a Spark spin.  Unfortunately the batteries had auto discharged to the 60% level so the flight was short
Yes Simon - not long now!

We had our hottest day on record on Thursday, 46.6 degrees, however, that’s Celsius.  That equates to 115.88 degrees Fahrenheit.  I was going to put the drone up and do a “how hot” video but thought the better of it.  Didn’t want to cook a battery.

I agree Si_Co.  44+ degrees in Central Victoria. Too hot to fly for the last few days.  Now it's about 26.  The air is cooler at 120 m, even cooler at 500m,  but that is not legal here nor recommended. You can check your logs online for battery temps etc via airdata.com for an indication.
Good luck & happy flying!

eYeSkYeYe, I don’t seem to have had any problems either.  There’s obviously a lot of people out there that have either had problems, or haven’t quite got the confidence to do it.
